Uploading Your Music
Upload Process
Navigate to the Upload page and follow these steps to publish your music on USIC.
1. Prepare Your Files
Audio: MP3, WAV, or FLAC (max 50MB)
Cover Art: JPG or PNG (recommended 3000x3000px)
2. Add Metadata
Fill in track title, artist name, genre, and description. Complete metadata helps listeners discover your music.
3. Set Royalty Splits (Optional)
Add collaborators and set their revenue share percentages. Payments are automatically split on-chain.
4. Publish
Confirm the transaction in your wallet. Your music will be uploaded to IPFS and registered on-chain.

Earning Revenue
Stream Payments
Set your own price per stream and earn USDC paid instantly to your wallet. Thanks to X402 micropayments, you can charge as low as fractions of a cent. No waiting for monthly payouts.
Example at $0.01/stream:
1,000 streams = $10 USDC
10,000 streams = $100 USDC
100,000 streams = $1,000 USDC
Token-Gated Streaming
Enable free streaming for fans who hold your track tokens. Set a minimum token balance requirement during upload, and token holders can bypass X402 payments. This incentivizes token ownership and builds a dedicated community around your music.
Example: Require 100 tokens to stream for free. Fans who hold 100+ tokens can listen unlimited times without paying per stream.

Profile Tokenization
Tokenize Your Artist Profile
Create a one-time profile token that represents your entire artist brand. This token is deployed via Clanker on Base and can be traded on Uniswap V4.
Requirements
- • Hold 10,000,000 $USI tokens
- • Have uploaded at least 5 tracks
- • One-time action (cannot be repeated)

How to Tokenize
- 1. Meet the requirements (10M $USI + 5 tracks)
- 2. Go to your dashboard and click "Tokenize Profile"
- 3. Choose your token name and ticker symbol
- 4. Confirm the deployment transaction
- 5. Your profile token is now live and tradeable!

The trending feed prioritizes tracks based on:
- • Recent stream count (last 24 hours)
- • Unique listeners
